Buzz! is back, and looking better than ever in his PlayStation®3 debut, Buzz! Quiz TV.
Q: What's the greatest quiz-based videogame in the world?
A: Buzz! of course!
Buzz! is back for his first foray into the next generation, and this time he's pulling out all the stops with Buzz! Quiz TV. The TV of the title refers to the different question channels that you can now select from to create your own personalised quiz experience, with 5,000 new questions covering topics as diverse as music, movies, sport, geography, and lifestyle. For the first time, the questions on the disc are just the beginning of the Buzz! experience thanks to downloadable Quiz Packs. Anyone can create their own quiz packs and upload them to the MyBuzz servers, meaning there will always be a fresh supply of new questions to keep you and your friends guessing.
Everything about Buzz! Quiz TV is at once both familiar and new. Buzz is here, as shiny-suited and wise-cracking as ever, and both he and the studio have been given a big-budget, High Definition makeover that's left them looking better than ever before. Buzz!'s trademark multimedia content has also been given a boost thanks to the addition of High Definition video and full surround sound audio tracks, and the gameplay is excellent as always, thanks to new round types Quickfire Challenge, Picture This and Virus Challenge as well as 15 different challenges for the single player.
Want more? How about wireless buzzers, meaning that you can do a victory lap of the living room after a particularly lucky guess without yanking the PlayStation®3 off the table, or the fact that you can now play online in Sofa Vs Sofa matches against quiz fans all over the world? Of course the offline multiplayer is as fun as ever, just as enjoyable to play with the family at Christmas as with friends after a night out.
Brimming with new content and beautiful to look at, Buzz!: Quiz TV should leave no question in people's minds on its release this summer. So start swotting up, and keep your browser pointed at au.playstation.com for lots more Buzz! news, coming soon.
