Strap in for the final lap of the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition competition, as 15 finalists go head-to-head.
The race to win a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is nearing its exciting final stages as the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition competition steps up a gear. The first stage of the competition saw 15 participants claim their place in the final after coming out top in an in-game competition using the ultra-realistic Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition on PlayStation 3. Now they have the chance to win a spectacular SLS AMG at the Mercedes-Benz GT5 Driving Challenge, at Austria's Red Bull Ring on 11 and 12 July 2011.
All 15 finalists will be coached by experienced AMG racing instructors in addition to Mercedes-Benz motor sport professionals Bernd Schneider and David Coulthard, and they will compete against one another in different driving challenges developed by the AMG Driving Academy. The GT5 racers will have to prove their technical skills and ability to safely manoeuvre the AMG supercar. The top two competitors will then enter a head-to-head drag race to discover who will be the winner and new owner of the prized SLS AMG.
You can check out all fifteen participants at Facebook.com. With the skilled competitors representing the 11 different countries of Austria, Australia, France, Germany, UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Norway, Spain and South Africa, who will get your support in this final challenge?
