Specific Rules for the LittleBigPlanet™ PlayStation® Vita Digital Campaign

Entry Rules

1. The "LittleBigPlanetTM PlayStation® Vita Digital Campaign" competition ("Competition") is open to persons aged 16 years or over who are residents of Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom ("Entrant Countries") except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its associated companies, their agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition ("Entrants").
2. The Competition is open for entries on 9 October 2012 and closes for entries on 28 October 2012 (the "Competition Period").
3. The Competition will consist of five (5) challenges ("Challenges") which are set out below. The aim of each Challenge is for the Entrant to set out a design or an idea which could be included as an element of a level of LittleBigPlanetTM (the "Level"). To enter this Competition, Entrants must complete all of the steps for whichever Challenge they wish to enter during the relevant period indicated (a "Challenge Period").
4. Challenge 1: The Story Challenge

To enter this Challenge, Entrants must complete the following steps between 9 October 2012 and 10 October 2012:

a. Access the Competition Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaystation;

b. Accept these terms and conditions;

c. Input their email address;

d. Submit the outline of a story and the narrative behind the Level (in no more than 200 words);

e. By entering this Challenge Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

5. Challenge 2: The Vehicle Challenge

To enter this Challenge, Entrants must complete the following steps between 11 October and 14 October 2012):

a. Access the Competition Facebook page at  http://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaystation;

b. Accept these terms and conditions;

c. Input their email address;

d. Submit a suggestion for the vehicle that Sackboy will use to navigate through the Level; (in no more than 200 words);

e. By entering this Challenge Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

6. Challenge 3: The Background Challenge

To enter this Challenge, Entrants must complete the following steps between 15 October 2012 and 17 October 2012:

a. Access the Competition Facebook page at  http://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaystation;

b. Accept these terms and conditions;

c. Input their email address;

d. Submit a piece of original artwork which can be used as the background to the Level. The entry can be drawn, sketched, painted, created by using a computer program, or created through a combination of these, but where the Entry is not created by computer, the Entrant must submit a scan or a photo;

e. The Entrant will need to submit the entry in one of following formats: JPEG, TIF, PNG;

By entering this Challenge Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

7. Challenge 4: The Baddie Challenge

8. To enter this Challenge, Entrants must complete the following steps between 22 October 2012 and 24 October 2012 (BST):

   a. Access the Competition Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaystation;

   b. Accept these terms and conditions;

   c. Input their email address;

   d. Submit a suggestion for a baddie for the Level. The baddie must be a bad character which must be overcome by a player in order to complete the Level;

   e. Imagery can be drawn, sketched, painted, created by using a computer program, or created through a combination of these. Where the imagery is not created by computer, the Entrant must submit a scan or a photo;

   f. The Entrant will need to submit any imagery in one of the following formats: JPEG, TIF, PNG.

   g. By entering this Challenge Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

9. Challenge 5: The Music Challenge

   To enter this Challenge, Entrants must complete the following steps between 25 October 2012 and 28 October 2012:

   a. Access the Competition Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaystation;

b. Accept these terms and conditions;

c. Input their email address;

d. Submit a sound file for an in-game sound-track to be played over the course of the Level (no more than 2 minutes 30 seconds in length);

e. The entry must be submitted in either of the following formats: MP3, MP4;

f. By entering this Challenge Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

g. Entrants may only submit one entry per Challenge. Entrants may enter more than one Challenge and will be eligible to win more than one Competition prize.

10. Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.
11. For each Challenge, there will be the following winners and prizes:

Challenge 1: The Story Challenge

-   1 winner who will win a Sackboy beanie hat worth approximately 5 GBP

Challenge 2: The Vehicle Challenge 

- 1 winner who will win a PlayStation®Vita, an Official PlayStaion®Vita Memory Card and a copy of the LittleBigPlanetTM game worth approximately 320 GBP

- 5 runners up who will each win a copy of the LittleBigPlanetTM game worth approximately 40 GBP

Challenge 3: The Background Challenge 

- 5 winners who will each win a 'Sackboy on Board' car sign worth approximately 7 GBP

Challenge 4: The Baddie Challenge 

- 5 winners who will each win a Sackboy PS3 Sticker/Skin worth approximately 10 GBP

Challenge 5: The Music Challenge

- 10 winners who each win a Nathan Drake Sackboy key ring worth approximately 5 GBP /

12. Winners will be selected by an independent judge. Winning entries will be those considered to be the most creative, original, unique and which will be most engaging for players of the LittleBigPlanetTM game.
13. The winners and runners up shall be notified of their selection within 1 week of the Competition closing date by email.
14. In order to claim their prize, the winners will have to send a response to the notification email featuring their name, date of birth and postal address.
15. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to send the prize to each winner/runner up by registered post within 30 days of receiving the winner/runner up's details but does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are sent later than this.
16. If the prize is found to be ineffective, faulty or damaged upon receipt, the Promoter must be notified in writing within seven days of receipt, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as received. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).
17. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish each winner's name on the Promoter's website(s). Each winner's name will be made available on request to those enclosing a SAE marked 'LittleBigPlanetTM PlayStation® Vita Digital Campaign' to the following address: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP United Kingdom within 6 weeks of the closing date specified above.
18. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of the Terms and Conditions or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may at their sole discretion refuse to process an entry or fulfill any prize awarded.
