The world of 'xtreme' sports hits Lego Island, with EA's latest stunt-tastic offering following hot on the wheels of its previous Racer sequel...
Diminutive Lego hero and stuntmaster supremo Pepper Roni (!) takes to the fore in an extreme sports showdown from EA. When a big budget production company comes to the island looking for someone to perform dare-devil stunts for its latest action flick, Pepper Roni is a dead-cert for the part... that is, until eternal enemy Brickster (!!) decides to show up and put a spanner in the works. It's up to you, playing as Roni, to show off some serious moves and put a stop to your nemesis Brickster's dodgy antics once and for all.
There are five different stunt games to drive, fly, jump and skate through, that'll test your extreme sports abilities to the limit. Take to the tarmac and track down Brickster, dodging traffic as you hurtle down highways; jump on a bike and guide it skilfully round a construction site; scoot around the high seas on a jet-ski; navigate cloudscapes on a sky-board; and travel from challenge to challenge on Roni's skateboard. There are additional sub-quests and puzzles to tackle too that'll unlock extra goodies, including sub-games that can be played in Arcade or Versus mode.
With more than 25 challenges and extra quests to discover, and a neat customisable mode that allows you to alter characters and environments, Island Xtreme Sports has all the basic building blocks for a top stunt racer.
- Take your pick from 14 different vehicles to drive, fly and pilot, which are all buildable from real LEGO pieces
- A huge skate park on the main island allows you to learn grabs, perform spins, fakies and grinds, and generally pull-off some ace moves
- More than 25 challenges to explore and unlock
