An everyday tale of a normal girl whisked away to another world where her evil Dad is enslaving the population and turning them into werewolves
Kya and her brother are a normal pair of 21st century kids until they discover their absent father's secret lab. After meddling with things clearly labelled "Do not touch" they are sucked into a new world were the friendly, bear-like Nativs (that's their name) are being persecuted by an evil being who is turning them into fierce Wolfen creatures to do his bidding. Kya, separated from her brother, has to help the Nativs, find her brother and overthrow the nasty overloard - problem is, he turns out to be her Dad. Nooooooooooooooooo!
Kya is an action-packed platform game, chock full of new and old ideas to make it 100 percent challenging and 100 percent fun (okay, that's 200 percent but bear with me). As well as jumping and climbing, Kya can find her way around the Nativ's varied landscape using the strong winds that are common all over. These can be updraughts that allow her to reach high platforms or cross winds that hamper her progress. She can even 'fly' on the air currents to get to new areas. Kya also has a boomerang-like hairgrip - her Boomy - which she can use to defend herself and target distant objects. If you prefer getting up close and personal, her hand-to-hand combat is a joy to behold (unless you happen to be on the receiving end). For something a bit different in the action platform world, be guided by the gaming winds and pick up Kya: Dark Lineage.
- Battle against the winds or use them to your advantage
- Platforms, puzzles and devastating combat await
- Huge, vertigo-inducing levels
- Play the mini-game challenges over and over for practice or profit. You can even play against a friend
