Fancy a selection of videogames that everyone can enjoy? The party is just beginning with the Buzz! Junior series, exclusive to PlayStation 2.
The Buzz! Junior range is now four games strong with the most recent release of the dino-tastic Buzz! Junior: Dino Den on PlayStation 2. Offering family fun for all, Buzz! Junior is the perfect way to bring adults and kids together for an action packed blast of entertainment for up to four players at a time. Using the Buzz! Buzzers, you engage in a number of mini-games and challenges designed to test your wits and reactions in order to see who's the best buzzer in your family. There are plenty of different themes to enjoy across Buzz! Junior, so here's a look at the whole collection to date.
Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party
This is where it all started. Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party took the popular Buzz! name and expanded its already massive scope with a large helping of multiplayer monkey mayhem. Playing as one of four comically cheeky simians, you take part in 40 games to see who is king of the jungle across activities such as Bubble Bath, which has your monkeys sitting in a hot tub with a gorilla and trying to release a stream of rather suspect bubbles by pressing the buzzer without getting caught.
Jungle Party's strong sense of slapstick humour perfectly compliments its mischievous, infectious and amusing gameplay - ideal for cheeky monkeys of all ages.
Buzz! Junior: RoboJam
To the future! RoboJam is all about bringing you the Buzz! Junior experience from the far reaches of outer space where up to four of you can assume the role of hilarious robots battling it out at the robot academy. In a contest of 25 games, you challenge each other for points in order to claim victory over your opponents and gain the prestigious Robot of the Month award.
With the ability to customise your own little robotic avatar, RoboJam is rife with mechanised madness, regardless of whether you're playing with friends or going solo against Smart Bot controlled opponents. Games such as Octo-Beat (where you have to avoid falling into an acid pit by matching the beat of a singing space octopus) and Astro Blaster (blowing up asteroids) ensure the humour matches the gameplay for something that's truly out of this world.
Buzz! Junior: Monster Rumble
Dare you step into the Monster Mansion? You would be missing out if you didn't, because behind its dusty doors are four manic monsters looking to have a bit of a giggle. The rowdy rascals have escaped from the Mad Professor's lab and are now looking to see who the mansion's bigwig is by having a friendly little competition. And you know what that means...
Monster Rumble allows fantastic customisation over your little creature, with the ability to create your own monster's arms, legs, horns, ears and eyes before playing 25 games of finger twitching action. Are you quick enough to get to your seat in time in Musical Chairs? Or skilful enough to chase away ghosts in the attic without falling through trapdoors in Scary Stilts? It's an enjoyable monster mash for all, so grab those buzzers and get rumbling!
Buzz! Junior: Dino Den
Dino Den is the newest addition to the Buzz! Junior range, and it packs the same amount of madcap merriment in the biggest prehistoric party going. Choosing one of four cheeky dinosaurs, you have to romp and stomp through 35 games, teaming up with a friend or taking on three others in order to see who's king of the Dinos.
Like its companion Buzz! Junior titles, Dino Den gives you the ability to tailor the mini-games to your own liking, whether it's a quick blast, marathon session, something in-between or even a selection of your favourite games for a custom set-up. Will you be victorious in the hilarious Dinos on Ice, where you have to match the colours on screen to your buzzers to perform acrobatics on an ice skating rink? Or can you stay on top of a running T-Rex, in Hitch a Ride, avoiding tree branches on the way?
Regardless of which game you choose, there's a mammoth amount of family fun to be had - true to the Buzz! Junior tradition of bringing a smile to anyone's face, no matter what age you are.
