2K Sports heats things up with its latest NHL instalment.
NHL 2K9 brings the fun back to ice hockey this year with an easy, pick-up-and-play control system that newcomers and seasoned skaters can get to grips with quickly.
NHL 2K9 also features brand new presentation systems including in-game menus, pre-game intros, new crowd animations and a fun-filled commentary from ice hockey gurus Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda. In-between matches, players can also break up the action by jumping on board the Zamboni ice machine, driving around the rink for some addictive mini-game fun.
Once you've mastered the single player you can then team up with 11 other players online. You can also choose to pick a position on your online team, stick to it and form a squad with up to six separate PS3 systems across the globe. Throw in a wealth of rock tracks from the likes of The Offspring, Bad Religion and The Ramones and you've got the best NHL 2K game yet!
