Uncharted 2: Among Thieves cleans up at this years BAFTA Video Games Awards, while Batman: Arkham Asylum takes home the biggest gong of the night for Best Game of 2009.
Held on Friday 19th March 2010 in London, the BAFTA Video Games Awards 2010 recognised the best in innovation and talent over the past 12 months in the videogame industry, and this year saw PlayStation®3 exclusive Uncharted 2: Among Thieves take home an astounding 4 awards in the Action, Original Score, Story and Use of Audio categories.
Batman: Arkham Asylum took home 2 BAFTA awards - the coveted Best Game award and also for Gameplay, while FIFA 10 also picked up 2 awards in both the Sports and Use of Online categories. And as voted by the public, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 took home the GAME Award of 2009.
PlayStation®Network exclusive title Flower took home the Artistic Achievement award while LittleBigPlanet (PSP) blitzed the Handheld category.
Being up against the likes of inFamous, Assassin's Creed II, Dragon Age: Origins and many more is certainly no mean feat, and it's a huge achievement to be recognised by the British Academy. We congratulate all the winners and nominees.
