Red Faction: Armageddon announced

THQ today announced that Red Faction® Armageddon™ is currently in development at internal studio Volition, Inc. and is scheduled to release on PlayStation®3 in March 2011.

Red Faction® Armageddon™ moves beneath the surface of Mars as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As Darius Mason, players fight to save humanity from an even greater evil that threatens to extinguish all life on the planet.

Half a century after the Red Faction resistance freed Mars, the red planet again becomes a battleground. Colonists struggle for survival in the underground mines after the surface is rendered uninhabitable.
