Aussie Killzone 3 launch event

The Australian PlayStation community celebrated the launch of Killzone®3 at an exclusive invite-only event in Sydney's Waterloo, hosted by none other than Commando Steve.

The warehouse location provided the ideal setting for an ISA Training Camp designed to give the 100+ attendees from around Australia a true glimpse of the Helghan home world.

Click here for a full wrap-up of the event.

Mad Max Blu-ray Disc™ Competition

32 years after its original cinematic release, Mad Max exploded onto remastered high-definition Blu-ray Disc for the very first time on 3rd March 2011.

To help celebrate the re-release of this iconic Australian movie, we gave away copies of Mad Max on Blu-ray Disc in the official PlayStation Forums. We received some amazing entries so head to the Forums now to check out the winners.

Friday Freebies

Don't forget about our Friday Freebies in the official PlayStation Forums which you'll find under Announcements & Community Events. We run these every few weeks and you get the chance to win some pretty cool prizes, such as Uncharted 2 bags and t-shirts, Bayonetta cards, GT5 Signature Edition keyrings and more! All this, just by showing off your knowledge of PlayStation. Now, how hard can that be?!

NGP

Want to know more about the next generation portable entertainment system (NGP)? Well, so does the rest of the community and they have been showing their interest with lots of discussion in the official PlayStation Forums. If you want to share your opinions and check out what the other community members have said then check out the official thread.

Forum Fads

Community members have also been discussing their most annoying fads - whether it's Vampires, Charlie Sheen, Reality TV or Political Correctness, check out what some of the community find annoying and you can share your thoughts as well.
