Video game developers will rub shoulders with fans in Cologne from 18 August 2011, as gamescom 2011 invites the public to get an early taste of some of the biggest titles and brightest technology on the horizon.

PlayStation will be at the centre of the show in Germany. Look out for the latest on PlayStation Vita, in particular, as more details will be unveiled about the next generation in handheld gaming.
