Inspired by the release of inFamous 2 on PS3, we asked the PlayStation Community to tell us which gaming superpowers have electrified them over the years.
"Rewinding time in the Prince of Persia series. I like to learn from my mistakes and grow as a result of that." (ChocoboJockey)
"My favourite superpower in video games is the Ionic Vortex used by Cole MacGrath. It's an incredible power which can destroy everything and it's great to watch. It's definitely worthy of a blockbuster." (CihatSolo)
"The best superpower is to be able to fly. It is a classic among superheroes and it gives you an unimaginable sense of freedom. You could visit any place in the world or float among the clouds." (gejobj)
"My favourite ability is being able to jump from great heights without taking damage, like in PROTOTYPE or inFamous. Nothing makes you feel as powerful as landing in the middle of a busy intersection and causing a shockwave that sends cars flying." (A_Nonny_Moose)
"My favourite attack is the thunderdrop from inFamous. Because you can destroy everything around you. It creates a beautiful wave as if you are dive-bombing into the water." (Adam2010Jayresa)
"I would love to have Sonic's speed. With the high price of petrol nowadays, running is a great alternative, and being able to overtake a sports car is just amazing!" (timinator101)
"It has to be the plasmids from the Bioshock series. Being able to use telekenesis or manipulate electricity, ice and fire to name a few, whilst wielding a weapon in the other hand. The possibilities are endless." (AzedX)
"I really like the Anger of Gods of Kratos in God of War. Kratos unleashes all his power against all the enemies on the screen. It's really powerful!" (Rani04)
"Sub-Zero's freezing abilities in Mortal Kombat. There's something oddly captivating about being able to freeze your opponent and slow them down whilst you take your next move. Plus, it looks rather cool." (GhettoAgent)
"Cole's ability to slide along power lines, because it's fast, you can absorb the energy, and there's no need to use other means of transport - it's environmentally friendly as well." (BERLINER46)
