Experience PlayStation-style gaming thanks to PlayStation Mobile and a new partnership with HTC.
At E3 2012, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. announced that it had come to an agreement with HTC, a global designer of smartphones and the world's first company to launch Android-powered devices, to deliver the PlayStation experience to even more users across the planet.
"HTC is focused on delivering innovative mobile experiences for people everywhere and SCE's immersive world of gaming will bring compelling entertainment to HTC One customers across the globe," said Kouji Kodera, Chief Product Officer, HTC Corporation.
In addition to other developers and publishers who have agreed to develop content for PlayStation Suite, SCE Worldwide Studios is developing attractive games. In conjunction with this development, SCE has renamed PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile and will position it as a new delivery platform.
PlayStation Mobile marries fun, engaging PlayStation-style gaming with the convenience of PlayStation Certified mobile devices and an intuitive store navigation and purchasing experience. PlayStation Mobile content is also compatible with PlayStation Vita.
SCE will continue to add to the list of PlayStation Certified devices as well as collaborate with content developers to grow the range of compelling entertainment available via PlayStation Mobile.
