See how The Eye of Judgment on PlayStation 3 is revolutionising interactive games.

The Eye of Judgment is without doubt one of the most original and innovative games on the horizon for PlayStation 3. Using the PlayStation Eye camera to recognise playing cards, the game combines Hasbro's card game expertise with the power of PS3, creating a magical, interactive experience based on the concept of Collectable Card Games.

Collectable Card Games, or CCGs, combine both strategy and luck in their gameplay. Imagine Draughts combined with Top Trumps and you would not be far off the mark.

The other key difference between CCGs and traditional playing-card games is that you collect and trade the cards. This is very similar to collecting sticker albums, only that instead of sticking them in a book you use your collection of cards to make decks to play with.

The Eye of Judgment takes these basic staples of a CCG and adds new gameplay and opportunities with the camera and PS3.

Graphically each card is represented as stunning 3D animations, with the creatures literally coming to life out of the cards as you play them.

The less exciting side of CCG gameplay - keeping track of your mana, when you should draw cards, the position and effects of cards you have played and so on - is handled by your PS3, letting you concentrate on having fun.

Beyond the actual games themselves, a powerful organisation tool lets you enter your cards into a Deck Builder. Using the camera you can quickly scan cards in to create decks that you can use online or in battles.

Where The Eye of Judgment really excels is in solo and online gameplay. One thing almost all traditional games require is someone to play against. The Eye of Judgment cuts out any travel and hassle in organising a game, enabling you to challenge friends all over the globe to online battles or, if nobody is around, matches against the AI.

Watch out for The Eye of Judgment in Australia later this year.
