When making a video there are two modes which can be applied to a clip:
[Time Lapse]: This captures images at regular intervals then plays them back as a movie. The intervals can be set at 5, 10 and 30 seconds.
[Stop Motion]: This captures images one photo at a time, which can then be played back as a stop motion animation movie. There is an option to add [Skinning] while you create the clip, which allows you to see a faint, ghosted version of the previous frame.
