PSN brings some festive fun

PlayStation Network has a distinctly festive spirit to it in this update, with some seasonal costumes and extras for LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy, along with a Crash Commando trailer and more for you to download.

A planet sized costume update for Sackboy

What better way to celebrate the festive season in LittleBigPlanet than by downloading the LittleBigPlanet Festive Goodies pack and Santa Boots & Coat? The Pack is a level kit which includes a Christmas tree costume for Sackboy, stickers featuring Santa and Rudolph, wrapping paper material and a festive sleigh - while the Santa Boots and Coat Costume pack dresses Sackboy as jolly ol' Santa.

Fancy something even punchier? Then how about some of the most recognised fighters in videogames - Ryu, Chun Li, Guile and Zangief, from the Street Fighter series? Whether your preference is the big yellow hair of Guile or the massive beard of Russian wrestler Zangief, these downloads are perfect to give Sackboy a Street Fighter makeover.

Season's greetings from Pain and High Velocity Bowling

PSN has even more festive goodies to enjoy, through Pain and High Velocity Bowling. Pain already has the seasonal joys of characters Santa and Cookie to download and fire off into the various environments, and now you can also download a new patch which adds a reindeer costume for the game's main character, Ed. The patch includes additional replay editor functionality, which allows you to upload your favourite moments to the PS3 Home Menu and YouTube.

In High Velocity Bowling, the characters of Beatrice and Carl get a little festive love too. Beatrice's Holiday Spirit costume gives a reindeer slant to her clothes, while Carl's Season's Greetings costume puts the bowler in a Santa costume for your enjoyment.
