August was a busy month for the PlayStation Community thanks to gamescom 2011 and a host of fun-packed activities and challenges, so why not join in the fun in September 2011.

Surfing the gamescom wave

The PlayStation Community joined the public at gamescom 2011 in Cologne for an early taste of some of the biggest and brightest upcoming games.

Many users shared their thoughts and opinions on the incredible entertainment on show, including PlayStation Vita, the 3D display, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and many more games and products.

Are you ready to resist?

Resistance 3 invaded PlayStation 3 in September 2011 and the PlayStation community took the fight to the deadly Chimera in this latest chapter in the blockbuster series on PlayStation.

Now you can prepare for the furious fight ahead by discussing weapons and participating in online missions with other Resistance 3 fans in the official PlayStation Forums.

Creative community

In April 2011, we asked the PlayStation Community to design their very own Portable ID theme and post it in the official PlayStation Forums.

Three creations made the podium from more than 600 entries submitted, and you can reward these talented PlayStation Community members by heading over to au.playstation.com/psn/mypsn and downloading their Portable IDs.
