Relive the best bits of 2012, PlayStation style.
PlayStation Vita launched in Australia

Packed with innovative features and exclusive games, PlayStation Vita made its Australian debut in February 2012. Gamers could use innovative touchscreen and dual analog stick controls for a fresh take on renowned series including Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified and Assassin's Creed III Liberation.
What you said... "Have you ever seen a console with so many possibilities of interaction with the real world?" (Mikkaels)
PlayStation Plus went from strength to strength

There were a number of important updates for the great value PlayStation Network subscription service in 2012: during the summer, the Instant Game Collection was introduced, meaning you could download a raft of quality titles to your PS3 at no extra cost; online storage for game saves was also increased from 150MB to 1GB in September; and, best of all, in November PlayStation Plus was rolled out to cover PS Vita too - meaning that you could now download 65 games a year, including 26 for PS Vita and 39 for PS3, at no extra cost.
What you said... "I have to admit that PS Plus with the Instant Game Collection is really amazing and it got me to play so much in seven months of subscription!" (Leonsamuel)
PlayStation 3 got a stylish new makeover

The release of a sleekly redesigned PS3 system in September proved that size isn't everything. Now available in an eye-catching design that is sure to draw admiring glances when nestled next to your TV, the sleek new PlayStation system 3 is available as an entry level, family friendly 12GB version or in a more meaty 500GB version for gamers who want masses of storage space.
What you said... "Really like the look of the new console, this is a great example of less is more. I've been a PlayStation fan from the very first PS1 edition and have been hooked ever since." (SLOPPY1001)
PlayStation Store expanded in every direction

It became even easier for you to find the content you love in 2012 thanks to the release of a new-look PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3 in October. The updated PlayStation Store featured a new look, richer content and enhanced search features. Plus, you can now shop for PlayStation Store content on any computer thanks to December's launch of the Sony Entertainment Network Store. Check it out now to pick up some quality games for your console.
What you said... "The store update looks great and was very much needed, can't wait to try it out. It seems to have improved every aspect and the search facility and linked content are particularly pleasing." (MikLSP)
Wonderbook magically sprang to life

November saw the release of Wonderbook: Book of Spells, the first game to support Wonderbook, a brand new peripheral that lets you create augmented reality experiences in your living room. Wonderbook: Book of Spells lets you master 20 spells from the world of Harry Potter™ and includes exclusive new stories from J.K.Rowling.
What you said... "I can only say that both the experience of Book of Spells, and the use of the book has amazed me, and I am looking forward to see more things from Wonderbook in the future." (Kilno)
PlayStation Move games came thick and fast

Whether it was casting spells in Sorcery (May), taking your competitive instinct to the next level in Sports Champions 2 (October) or getting hot and sweaty with DanceStar Party Hits (October), there was something for all the family to enjoy with the PlayStation Move motion controller in 2012. Plus with support for games including Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, House of the Dead 4 and Portal 2, there was plenty to keep action fans happy too.
What you said... "My favourite multiplayer game of all time has to be... Portal 2. The co-operative mode was just brilliant. Nothing even comes close. Superb level design, fantastic puzzles, a story that was as good as the single-player... but the clincher was definitely the "gestures" which are the best method of player communication in any game."
