Pay for items using the wallet for PlayStation®Network

Find out how to fund purchases at PlayStation®Store.

You can use the wallet to purchase products that are for sale in [PlayStation®Store]. One wallet is created for each PlayStation Network master account. You must add funds to the wallet before making purchases.

Adding funds

You can add funds to the wallet using a credit card*. Funding methods, currency and limits to wallet funding level vary depending on the country or region of residence. For details, visit au.playstation.com.

* A promotion code can be exchanged for goods such as additional items for games.

  1. Select [Account Management] under PlayStation®Network in the PSP Home Menu.
  2. Select [Transaction Management].**
  3. Select [Add Funds] and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the operation.

** To redeem a promotion code, select [Redeem Codes] in step 2, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Wallet usage by sub account holders

Sub account holders cannot create wallets but can make use of the wallet for the associated master account to pay for products and services. Master account holders can adjust monthly spending limits for the associated sub accounts. To set a limit, select [Account Management] under PlayStation®Network, and then select [Sub Account Management] > [Parental Control].
