The PlayStation community predicts which games will be big hits in 2010.

For this edition of Obsession Confessions, the PlayStation community looked deep into their crystal balls and told us which games will go on to define the year 2010. Here are their predictions, along with quotes from the official PlayStation Forums.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

Hideo's MGS5 and the continuation of Big Boss epic story, with graphic's that can be compared to MGS3 for a PSP game is amazing, looking forward to the co-op for it too. No better story in the Metal Gear universe then that of big boss - he's had a hard life and I can't wait to see what he'll go through in Peace Walker. (REBELYELL89, NSW)

Gran Turismo 5

I'll probably have to plan to have the week off and play it 72 hours straight. Okay, maybe not that much, but I'm not playing anything else for the next few months after its release. (GTR34mh, VIC)

WipEout HD - 3D

Not officially slated as a release, but if PlayStation history, and the recent developments/huge push SONY has put in towards 3D, well, you know this is going to be the first title released in 3D. It's always been the first to show any advancement in technology by SCE. Being a Wipeout tragic, I'd buy into the new 3D gear just for this title. (Blackwiggle, NSW)

DC Universe Online

I'm just itch'n to get my hands on this one. (Zedimus, WA)

ModNation Racers

Play, Create, Share worked well for LittleBigPlanet. I'm sure it will work even better for this title, because this time round, you won't need to have to collect a ton of items to build your dream level. It will be a classic racing game for sure, one type of game we don't see much of in this generation! (Toddster55555, SA)

Heavy Rain

I'm a huge film fan, and love noir and dark detective films, from early black and white, to Blade Runner. I simply can't wait for the chance to have a noir story, which I will be in control of. Being able to shape the events in Se7en comes to mind. (SmokeyPSD, ACT)

Final Fantasy XIII and The Last Guardian

Final Fantasy... Oh yes, and The Last Guardian (if it gets a release this year). (Tjohn323, NSW)

MAG

I've been wanting a huge multiplayer war game, and 256 players seems good enough for me... I'll be happy to spend all my Christmas money on it. (Ax_28, SA)

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

Always been a fan of Warhammer 40,000 and can't wait to see how the game plays and how great it looks in HD. (FurySevenSix, NSW)

Aliens vs Predator

Such a great movie / book series and the gameplay for this will be fantastic, with equally balanced factions and lots of new game modes. This will be an incredible addition to any gamers collection. (Battle_Metal, NSW)

God of War III

'Cause it's Kratos - what else do you need! Also, gameplay and storyline have always been epic and this time he's taking on the gods on mount Olympus and the quick time events are always fun. (SanguineDoll, NSW)

Many thanks to all of the community members that contributed via the official PlayStation Forums. Stay tuned for the next Obsession Confessions in the next couple of days.
