Join the adhocParty

Find out how to access and use the adhocParty application on your PS3.

Getting started

To use adhocParty you will need:

• A PlayStation 3 system connected to the Internet via a wired broadband connection
• A PSP  system connected to your PlayStation 3 system via a Wireless network connection
• A PSP software title which supports both Ad Hoc Mode play and adhocParty

Note:

• Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the latest system software enhancements for both your PlayStation 3 system and your PSP system before installing adhocParty
• adhocParty cannot be used with a PlayStation Network sub account for which chat functionality has been restricted
• adhocParty is only available in English and you must be 18 and over to download the application

Before accessing adhocParty, ensure that you are signed in to PlayStation Network and that your PlayStation 3 system is connected to the Internet via a wired broadband connection. Your PSP system must be connected to your PlayStation 3 system via a Wireless network connection too.

Accessing adhocParty on your PS3

1. Sign in to PlayStation Network
Sign in to PlayStation Network on your PS3 via the PlayStation Network section on the XMB (XrossMediaBar).

2. Got to Game > [adhocParty]
Once you have downloaded and installed the adhocParty application from PlayStation Store, go to Game > [adhocParty] on the XMB and press the X button.

Find your way around the Title Screen

Start
Explore the many worlds, lobbies and rooms at your own pace.

Go To
Choose a lobby previously added to your  History List or your  Bookmark List to jump directly to that  lobby. Find out more at ingamemanuals.software.eu.playstation.com/adhocparty

Search for Game
Search for rooms where the game of your choice is being played. Find out more at ingamemanuals.software.eu.playstation.com/adhocparty
