Main features in system software update version 6.20

• Extras has been added as a new category and [Digital Comics] has been added as an application under that category.

With this application you can enjoy content such as comics.

Individual Digital Comics are required to use the Digital Comics application and these are available on PlayStation Store from December 2009 in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Keep an eye on playstationcomics.com for more details, and for updates including news of when Digital Comics will be made available in additional countries.

Overall

• The XMB (XrossMediaBar) menu has been redesigned.

Photo / Video

• You can now import photo and video playlists that you created using the Media Go application or a PS3 system and enjoy the playlists on your PSP system.

Newly added features in PlayStation Store

The Video Store of PlayStation Store is now available in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain.

You can download video content (as a purchase or for free) from PlayStation Store. You can also rent content that has time restrictions on playback.

The Video Store of PlayStation Store is only available in a limited number of countries and regions. Languages that are supported are also limited and the types of services available vary depending on the region. For details, contact the technical support line for your region.

• This system software update includes all features contained in previous versions.
• The new system software will preserve any settings previously made to the PSP system (such as the Parental Control level).
• Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PSP system software.
• Do not perform updates using any data other than the official update data provided by Sony Computer Entertainment over a network or on disc media, and do not perform updates by methods other than those described in the product documentation or on this site. If an update is performed using data from another source, by another method, or with a PSP system that has been altered or modified in any way, the PSP system may not operate properly and may not be able to install the official update data. Any of these actions may void the PSP system warranty and affect your ability to obtain warranty services and repair services from Sony Computer Entertainment.
